About Sophie

Sophie Nelson-Crouse is an immigration case manager at Motivus Immigration Law with over a decade in the social service industry. Sophie has broad experience focusing on criminal, family, employment, and insurance law. She joins our firm eagerly to learn a new practice area while she assists clients on matters that incorporate her challenging life experiences and studies. Sophie completed her Bachelor of Arts in Family and Social Relations at the University of Windsor.

She graduated with her LLB honours from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, UK. She is currently an NCA candidate preparing for the Ontario Bar. Sophie is multilingual and fluent in English, French, and Haitian Creole.
Drawing on her extensive experience in human behaviour, she enjoys researching case laws that aid clients when adopting strategic policies that will ensure our clients get the best possible outcomes. In addition, she provides support regarding the completion of each file promptly.

When she’s not working, Sophie loves creating lasting memories through travelling and building relationships in her community as a volunteer. In the little downtime she has, she is an avid pet and girl youth sports supporter.
